Take a second and look at this world right now, is it the same it use to be before? In my eyes I feel as you are hearing way more on news about bullying and young kids doing things they should never be doing! The recently bullying cases have blown up and have made a lot of the rules in some schools because the act of bullying from cyber to in school is horrendous. One teen in South Hadley committed suicide due to this. Media from everyone is not blocked from anyone. The media shapes their minds and gives them ideas that what is out there in the real world. The media technology is so far developed that kids can learn anything from anything they do. Its spread so easily that each kid spreads it on then every teen knowing. Kids are causing way more problems then they are use to the video games are so far developed showing these kids things that should be happening.

I completely agree with you, media is definitely affecting children. Never before our generation has the term "cyber bullying" ever existing. And now, because of all the accessible social networking cites there are all sorts of horrible cases of this which have even more recently been leading to child suicide. Its a horrible thing that needs to stop. Bullying before use to be bad enough but at least kids had a safe place to go home and get away from the bullies but now no matter where they go it is always going to follow them. The media has such an impact on children.
ReplyDeleteThis is a sad, but true situation. I find it so sad that kids have to endure this type of treatment. When I was a kid, there was teasing, and it was always said that "kids are cruel" and that they always will be. However, there is a huge difference between teasing and bullying. We used to joke around and poke fun at one another but, it was never to the extent these kids are doing now. I wonder what is going on in the heads of these young kids that are taking their own lives for fear of facing the people bullying them everyday. I also feel deeply for the parents who have to burry their child to this type of violence. Some, most of them don't even know that their child is being ridiculed. It truly is heartbreaking.
